10 Second Challenge — The classic benchmark. The clock hides the moment you press Start; count to ten in your head and press Stop as close to 10.00 as you can. Great for comparing results with friends.
5 Second Challenge — Shorter than ten seconds feels easier, but the margins are tighter. A 0.2-second error on a 5-second target is twice as bad as the same error on 10 seconds. Surprisingly addictive.
3 Second Challenge — The quickest format. Three seconds is short enough that reaction and rhythm blur together. Good for large groups because rounds are fast and scores stay close.
Random Timer Challenge — A new surprise target every round, drawn from a range you set. No rhythm to memorise round to round, so your raw time sense is all that matters.
Custom Timer Challenge — Set any target from 0.1 seconds to 2 minutes. Useful for training a specific duration, for classroom timing exercises, or just for challenging yourself with unusual numbers.
Stopwatch Challenge — A hidden stopwatch game: start the clock, stop it on the hidden target. The same core mechanic in a slightly different framing, with its own scoring.
Pass & Play — 2 to 12 players on one device. Everyone takes a turn on the same hidden target, then passes the phone. Rounds, scoring and a winner declared at the end. No internet needed.
Challenge a Friend — Create an online challenge, share the code or link, and friends join from their own devices anywhere in the world. Everyone plays the same target in real time.
Multiplayer — The full online multiplayer mode with a live lobby, round-by-round results and a global scoreboard for your group.
Guess the Time — A variant where one player runs a hidden timer and stops it, then everyone else guesses how long it ran. The closest guess wins the round.
Across all modes, accuracy is measured in milliseconds. The verdicts are:
In multiplayer, the closest stop wins the round (+1 point); an exact hit earns 2 points. After your chosen number of rounds, the highest score wins. Learn more on the How to Play page.

Yes. All games are built for touch screens. On a desktop or laptop you can also use Space or Enter to start and stop the timer.
The 3-second challenge is the hardest for most people because the margins are so tight. A 0.1-second error is 3.3% of the target — already a noticeable miss. The random challenge is hardest psychologically because you can't develop a rhythm. Read our comparison in Which Timer Challenge Is Hardest?
